The backpack is prepared to accommodate a hydration system and offers many attachment options for ice axes, hiking poles and the like. Compression straps on both sides. Adjustable chest strap. Bergans Pole Position is an attachment option for hiking poles that allows for removal and reattachment even without setting the pack down.
