It is ideal for snowy canyons and steep slopes.It is slightly more curved and shorter than Salewa’s Alpine-X ice axe and has a sharp, aggressive, 3 mm steel blade. The minimalist hand rest can be adjusted without tools. The ergonomically designed ice axe head fits comfortably in the hand and is particularly comfortable during ascents and descents when the ice axe serves as a support.Its strong, aggressive steel blade is ideal for use in alpine steep ice slopes or glacier walls. A sharpened, replaceable carbide pick tip at the end of the shaft provides good grip when crossing old snow or ice.The shape of the hammer is modeled after a nut.
