The Alptrek 42 is designed for long distances: a comfortable trekking backpack made of lightweight nylon, very resistant to abrasion, with a fully adjustable carrying system and a capacity of 42 liters. It also offers the possibility of adding another five liters through the height-adjustable compartment in the lid. The lid is removable and can be used as a single carry bag. Our easily customizable Dry Back Custom carrying system features an adjustable back length and anatomically shaped, padded shoulder and hip belts for an individualized fit. In addition, load control straps allow for an optimal fit on the back over long distances. The pre-shaped hip fin ensures a snug fit and good load transfer to the hips. Large compartments provide plenty of space for spare clothing or tent poles. Access to the main compartment is from both the front and side, so you can quickly and easily access your gear. Anything you need to access quickly while hiking, without having to take off your pack, will find its place in the external pockets. This backpack is compatible with the Salewa hydration bladder holder.
