The Litetrek II is a double-walled 2-person tent. It is ideal for trekking in alpine terrain when protection from extreme weather, wind stability, light weight and compact pack size are particularly important. As a 3-season tent, it is ideal for use during the milder months of the year.The rugged and reliable semi-geodesic double wall construction separates you from wind and weather with two layers of fabric. It also provides optimal space utilization and excellent weather protection with good ventilation. The completely self-supporting design makes it easy to set up even in rocky terrain or alpine terrain that doesn’t offer enough room for setup with guy lines and pegs. The anchor points can also be extended for more flexibility, for example in snowy terrain. The highly tear-resistant, camouflage-colored flysheet of PU-coated 50D ripstop polyester has a water column of 3,000 mm, and the tent floor is made of durable PU-coated 70D ripstop nylon with a water column of 5,000 mm. The inner tent made of 66D ripstop polyester has a mesh entrance with integrated mosquito net. The rear ventilation opening can be opened with zippers from both inside and outside – so you can always provide fresh air and avoid moisture inside.Thanks to Salewa’s 3S Speed Set Up concept with short, flat pole sleeves and hooks, the tent is quick and easy to set up. In good weather and on warm nights, you can also simply pitch just the outer tent. The inner tent has an integrated weatherproof vestibule for cooking and storing luggage.
