The North-X ice axe is the perfect ice tool for classic North routes – and thus all areas of use in technical mountaineering, from steep firn fields to climbing in mixed or ice terrain to glacier crossings. The highlight of the North-X ice tool is the special handle design: the hand rest, which can be infinitely adjusted in height with one hand and without tools, locks under pressure and thus offers maximum support when climbing in the ice or rock face. If, on the other hand, one grips the ice axe at the pick head and stabs into the snow on a steep firn face, the hand rest slides upwards so that the climber gains height in a particularly time- and effort-saving manner.
